Matt Bradley made 10 of 11 shots, and three of three from beyond the arc as the San Diego State Aztecs downed the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, 80-55, for the team’s first win since Jan. 8.

Bradley put up 27 points, six rebounds, and four assists in 28 minutes. He averages 16 points per game this season.

Trey Pulliam scored 11 points, Lamont Butler earned nine points, and Nathan Mensah got eight points in the 25-point San Diego State victory. Senior Joshua Tomaic put up seven points off the bench to lead a 21-point effort from the bench.

The Aztecs won their third conference game in four games and places fourth in the Mountain West, only behind Colorado State (5-1), Wyoming (4-0), and Boise State (6-0).

The Aztecs jumped to an early 15-5 lead and took a 20-point lead with 50 seconds to go in the first half. They led at the half, 42-33.

In the second half, the Aztecs reached their climax with a 66-38 lead, their largest lead of the game at 28.

Capping their three games in a five-day stretch, the Aztecs will go to Logan, Utah to face the Utah State Aggies at 8 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
