The No. 5 Aztecs men’s basketball team (22-9, 11-7 MWC) opens the Mountain West Conference tournament against the No. 4 UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (19-11, 12-6 MWC) at 2:30 p.m. PT on UNLV’s home court at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The Aztecs own the all-time record in head-to-head matchups 43-38 and in the tournament, they are 9-2 when the two teams meet up.

UNLV defeated San Diego State in their last matchup on March 5 when the Runnin’ Rebels overcame a late comeback in a 62-58 defeat for the Aztecs.
