The San Diego State Aztecs won their fifth consecutive game to start the season as they continue to go undefeated in a 5-0 start. They won 81-64 at home against the Long Island Sharks.

San Diego State had four different players with double-digits in points for the first time this season. Forwards Yanni Wetzell (13) and Matt Mitchell (18) and guards Malachi Flynn (13) and Jordan Schakel (15) each put up great numbers in win No. 5.
