The San Diego State Aztecs (26-0, 15-0 MWC) remain undefeated as the Las Vegas Runnin’ Rebels (14-14, 9-6 MWC) travel to Viejas Arena in the third-to-last conference matchup of the season.

The Aztecs took the all-time series lead last month when they narrowly won in Las Vegas, 71-67. San Diego State leads the series 37-36 with a five-game win streak over the Rebels.

The Aztecs have the longest active win streak in Division 1 basketball this season at 26 games, and the second biggest scoring margin (+17.7), only behind the Gonzaga Bulldogs (+21.3).

In their most recent game, San Diego State defeated the Boise State Broncos on the road, 72-55, and on average, won by 19 points since the last time the Aztecs faced Las Vegas.

Malachi Flynn leads the Aztecs with 16.7 points and 5.1 assists per game while Yanni Wetzell leads with 6.5 rebounds per game.

Flynn, a transfer from the Washington State Huskies, has quickly become a fan-favorite due to his skill on the court. His points per game has jumped from 12.8 in 62 games with the Huskies to 16.7 points in 26 games with the Aztecs.

Wetzell, a transfer from Vanderbilt, began the season on the bench, but has since become a regular part of the starting-five for San Diego State. He averages 12.1 points and 1.5 assists per game.

The Aztecs and Rebels begin at 4:30 p.m. PT.from Viejas Arena. The game will be broadcasted on CBS Sports Network and XTRA 1360.
