Snapdragon Stadium will host the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team’s 10th annual SheBelieves Cup on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, featuring the Australia, Colombia and Japan national women’s soccer teams.
A double-header will be played on Feb. 26, with Australia and Colombia playing at 4:30 p.m. PT and the USWNT and Japan facing off at 7:30 p.m. PT.
It’ll mark the first time San Diego hosts the SheBelieves Cup, an annual tournament hosted in U.S. cities between the USWNT and three other nations, and the fourth time that the USWNT has played at Snapdragon Stadium since its opening in August 2022.
Snapdragon Stadium will host alongside Shell Energy Stadium in Houston on Thursday, Feb. 20, and State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. on Sunday, Feb. 23.
San Diego will host the finale of the round-robin style tournament where the winning nation and tournament MVP will be crowned following the final match.
The winner of the tournament is determined by total points (three for a win, one for a draw).
It’ll be Japan’s fifth appearance in the SheBelieves Cup and its third straight year. Australia and Colombia will make their first-ever appearance in the tournament.
The USWNT has won the tournament every year since 2020 and leads the tournament with seven first-place finishes. France (2017) and England (2019) are the only other nations to win the tournament.
Japan finished as the runner-up in 2023 behind the USWNT and will participate in the tournament for the third consecutive year. The 2025 edition will mark their fifth appearance. Australia and Colombia will make their SheBelieves Cup debut in 2025.
Tickets for the matches at Snapdragon Stadium will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. PT.
