Alex Morgan was celebrated before Sunday’s match, her 150th NWSL appearance, as she finished her illustrious career in professional soccer.

The Wave held a ceremony minutes before the match began with a video on the jumbotron as Morgan received a framed jersey with the No. 63, representing the matches she played for the Wave, with her family and friends joining her on the pitch.

Morgan started as the captain against the North Carolina Courage and exited the match in the 13th minute.

The match kicked off at 5:11 p.m. and aired simultaneously on CBS Sports Network, ESPN2, ESPN+, Paramount Plus, Prime Video, NWSL+ and locally on KUSI.
