Monday afternoon, the San Diego Seals released the 21-man roster for the second season of lacrosse in San Diego.

Among the 21 players are 12 returning from last season, including Captain Brodie Merrill.

The Seals will go with seven forwards: Wesley Berg, Kyle Buchanan, Connor Fields, Zach Greer, Connor Kearnan, Evan Messenger and Jeremy Noble.

The Seals will have two transitions: Drew Belgrave and Brandon Clelland.

They will hold 10 defenders: Graydon Bradley, Mike Carnegie, Garrett Epple, Mark Glicini, Eli Gobrecht, Cam Holding, Garrett McIntosh, Brodie Merrill, Tor Reinholdt and Matt Sykes.

And two goaltenders: Nick Damude and Frank Scigliano.

Four players will begin the year on the practice roster: Jules Heningburg, Dylan Riley, Mikie Schlosser and Ethan Schott.

And seven players will begin the season on the injured reserve list: Oliver Bolsterli, Zach Bryant, Austin Divitcos, Casey Jackson, Devyn Mayea, Johnny Pearson and Austin Staats.
