The San Diego Seals (3-6) return to San Diego after a long road trip that saw the Seals in New York and Las Vegas. The Seals will face division rival Vancouver Warriors (4-6) in their hunt to get out of last place.
In one previous match this season, the Seals defeated the Warriors on road turf, 11-10, in their first victory of the season.
The Seals are winners of two of their past three games, including a “home” game in Vegas where they tied a franchise-record with 17 goals over the Colorado Mammoth.
San Diego point-leader Wesley Berg has 14 goals and 26 assists in the team’s first nine games. The 26-year-old forward has 13 points in the past three games.
Since returning from injuries, forwards Casey Jackson and Austin Staats combined for 18 points in three games. Last season, both players were a big part of the playoff-clinching club, and if the Seals have any shot at making the postseason again after a slow start to the season, they will need their two best players to play as they did last year.
The Warriors are on their longest road trip of the season, playing their third and final game. In their most recent match Feb. 15 against the Toronto Rock, they fell 14-7.
The Seals and Warriors play at 11:30 a.m. PT. from Pechanga Arena San Diego. The game will be broadcasted on Bleacher-Report Live.
