The San Diego Seals (2-5) return to division play to kick off the month of February for a one-game “homestand,” although they will be playing on a neutral field against the Colorado Mammoth (4-4).

The Seals are coming off their second victory of the season in New York after a win over the New York Riptide. They scored a season-record 15 goals in the four-goal victory.

Zach Greer scored two goals in the first quarter which began a 5-0 run that gave San Diego a 6-3 lead. Greer scored his third goal of the night in the third quarter to increase his goals per game to 1.7.

In limited time, forward Casey Jackson has scored two goals and three assists in two games this season. Last season, Jackson scored a team-leading 37 goals in 18 games played.

The Mammoth enter the month of February in second place in the West Division with a 4-4 record. They average 10 goals per game and have continuously attacked the goal in eight games this season.

Colorado forward Ryan Lee has recorded team-leading 15 goals and 36 points this season. The 25-year-old averaged 3.3 points per game last year in all 18 games. He also scored eight points in two postseason games.

Goalie Dillon Ward has 489 minutes and played in all eight games so far this season for the Mammoth. He averages 43 saves per game and owns an 82.6% save percentage.

The Seals and Mammoth face-off at 7 p.m. PT at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Feb. 1 in a neutral-field game. The game will be broadcasted on Bleacher Report Live.
