The San Diego Seals (1-4) head north of the border to Halifax in Canada for the sixth game of the season against the Halifax Thunderbirds (4-0).
The Saturday evening showdown will be the first ever meeting between the two teams. The Seals are 0-2 against Northern Division opponents, while the Thunderbirds are 1-0 against Western Division opponents.
The Seals come off a three-point home loss against the Saskatchewan Rush. Despite coming back from multiple four-point deficits, the Seals could not get the job done.
The Thunderbirds, on the other hand, are undefeated in their existence so far, as they were established at the beginning of the season. Halifax is coming off a 12-9 victory in Colorado in which they scored three goals in each of the four quarters for a comeback win.
The Seals and Thunderbirds will begin at 3 p.m. PT from Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.
