The San Diego State Football Head Coach Rocky Long is reportedly looking for a defensive coordinator job, according to multiple sources.

On Monday, Long was reportedly visiting Syracuse, who currently has an opening at their defensive coordinator role.

In nine seasons since 2011, Long has coached the Aztecs to a 81-38 (.680) record, the best winning percentage by a single head coach in program history since 1978.

If Long was to leave San Diego State, the Aztecs would have to hire its 19th head coach since the program’s inception in 1922.
