San Diego State will go dancing for the fifth straight year after they got an at-large bid and will play North Carolina for the No. 11 seed on Tuesday, March 18.
They lost in the second round of the Mountain West Conference Championships but got one of the final spots in the 68-team field.
The First Four game will tip off at 6:10 p.m. PT in Dayton, Ohio.
They’ll play in the same South Region as cross-town rival UC San Diego.
If the Aztecs win on Tuesday, they’d get No. 6 Ole Miss on Friday, March 21 in Milwaukee, Wisc. and, if they make it to the second round, play the winner of the No. 3 Iowa State and No. 14 Lipscomb matchup on Sunday, March 23.
