Major League Rugby announced their 2025 schedule on Nov. 19 with a season opening date of Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025. The San Diego Legion will host the Seattle Seawolves on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, but the location of that match was not announced at the same time.

The club will make an announcement at 4 p.m. PT on Nov. 19.

Snapdragon Stadium, the team's home since 2023, removed any mention of the Legion on its website on the morning of Nov. 19, around the same time that the schedule was announced. Up until the schedule release, there were no indications from the club or venue about a potential change to their 10-year lease agreement.

The 2025 MLR season runs through Saturday, June 7, when the Legion hosts Old Glory DC in the regular-season finale.

With a two-conference league format, the Legion will play each Western Conference opponent twice in a home-and-home series. Their remaining eight matches will be played against six Eastern Conference foes.

The Legion will play a home-and-home series against the Miami Sharks and Old Glory. They’ll play the other four Eastern teams once, hosting the Chicago Hounds and NOLA Gold.

The location of each home match is to be determined.
