The San Diego Padres released their 2025 MLB season schedule on Thursday.

They’ll open the 2025 season against the Atlanta Braves on Opening Day on Thursday, March 27. The Cleveland Guardians will also come to town in the opening homestand.

The season will finish when the Padres host the Milwaukee Brewers (Sept. 22-24) and Arizona Diamondbacks (Sept. 26-28) in the final homestand.

In addition to their own Opening Day festivities, the Padres will take part in the Chicago Cubs’ home opener on Friday, April 4.

It’s the third season since MLB moved to a balanced schedule where every team plays everyone during the season.

Their interleague games at home include the Guardians (March 31-April 2), Tampa Bay Rays (April 25-27), Los Angeles Angels (May 12-14), Seattle Mariners (May 16-18), Kansas City Royals (June 20-22), Texas Rangers (July 4-6), Boston Red Sox (Aug. 8-10) and Baltimore Orioles (Sept. 1-3).

The Padres will play in Sacramento for the first time when they visit the homeless Athletics from April 7-9. Their interleague rotation also sees them visiting the Houston Astros (April 18-20), Detroit Tigers (April 21-23), New York Yankees (May 5-7), Toronto Blue Jays (May 20-22), Seattle Mariners (Aug. 25-27), Minnesota Twins (Aug. 29-31) and Chicago White Sox (Sept. 19-21).

NL West opponents will come to Petco Park for two series throughout the season. NL teams from the Central and East will each come to San Diego once.

The Padres will host the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 9-11 and Aug. 22-24, the Colorado Rockies on April 11-13 and Sept. 11-14, the San Francisco Giants on April 29-30 and Aug. 18-21, and the Diamondbacks on July 7-10 and Sept. 26-28.

The Padres will host the Chicago Cubs for Jackie Robinson Day on Tuesday, April 15. They’ll host the Miami Marlins on Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, for the second straight year. The Rangers will come to town for the Fourth of July and the Orioles will be in town for Labor Day.
