The San Diego Sockers (0-1) go on the road for the first time in the 2019-20 MASL season as they head to the state of Washington to play the Tacoma Stars (0-0) in the Stars’ season opener.

The two teams will meet for the first time since the 2018-19 postseason. Last year, San Diego won the season series, 6-1, but their only loss in a 23-1 season came at the hands of Tacoma.

In the semi-finals of the MASL postseason last year, the Stars defeated the Sockers and knocked them out of the playoffs after San Diego nearly went undefeated in the regular season.

The Sockers lost their season and home opener last week, and look to ruin it for the Stars at accesso ShoWare Center. Game time will be at 7:05 p.m. PT from Tacoma on Saturday night.
