A year after a disastrous performance by Manchester United at Snapdragon Stadium, they saw redemption in their 3-2 win over Real Betis, despite only drawing a crowd of 26,248 at the 32,000-seat capacity stadium.

It started with bringing their senior club to the U.S. instead of their under-21 team last season.

The majority of fans were cheering for United, although there was a fair number of Betis fans spread throughout the stadium seats that could be heard when their team scored.

Veteran players Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo and captain Carlos Casemiro each scored in the opening half after Betis struck first.

Betis forward Iker Losada opened the scoring in the 15th minute.

Both teams cycled through their roster throughout the second half, giving each of their players playing time with expanded 25-player rosters for both of their American tours.

Betis defender Diego Llorente put the game within one goal in the 61st minute.

Real Betis narrowly missed the equalizing shot in the 88th minute and again in the second minute of second-half stoppage time.

There were four goals scored in the first half and one goal in the second.
