The Gulls had a come-from-behind win against the division-leading Tucson Roadrunners, 5-3, from the Pechanga Arena. San Diego also extended their point streak to six games following the victory.
After the Gulls were down 2-0 in the first period, San Diego came on fire in the second period to take the lead. Justin Kloos put the Gulls ahead on a rebound shot for his 10th goal of the season.
Sam Carrick tied the game in the middle frame, scoring on a power play goal. Carrick extended his point streak to six games, with seven points over that span.
Tucson tied the game in the third period, on a goal by Michael Bunting.
Isac Lundestrom completed the win for San Diego when he scored on the empty net with 1:06 left in the third period.
The Gulls will take on the Bakersfield Condors Feb. 9 a at 5 p.m. PT from the Pechanga Arena.
