The San Diego Gulls five-game win streak came to an end Tuesday night against the Tucson Roadrunners by a final score of 3-1 at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

The only goal that San Diego got was from Daniel Sprong getting the team on board after 40 minutes of regulation. Simon Benoit earned his eighth assist this season.

Tucson took advantage against San Diego, by scoring three goals thanks to goals by Tyler Steenbergen, Aaron Ness and Hancock. All three of them made multi-point efforts for Tucson.

During the Gulls five game win streak, they outscored opponents 22-9, and posted four or more goals in each of the five games.

The Gulls will now travel on the road to face the Grand Rapids Griffins Jan. 24 with the game beginning at 4 p.m. PT.
