The Gulls dominated against their rivals the Ontario Reign, 6-1 at the Pechanga Arena San Diego.

San Diego struck first thanks to a goal by Brent Gates Jr. to make it 1-0 Gulls in the first period. Later on in the opening period, Troy Terry scored a goal for San Diego at 15:51 in the first period to give the Gulls the lead again 2-1.

In the second period, San Diego scored twice, increasing the lead to 4-1. Gulls captain Sam Carrick scored at 3:14, and Brendan Guhle at 11:59.

Again in the third period, Justin Kloos and Antoine Morand each score goals to put the Gulls up by five.

The Gulls will travel up the coast to take on the Stockton Heat on Jan. 15, with puck drop at 7 p.m. PT.
