Weinger led Tulsa with 11 points in the club’s first nine games of the 2022-23 season. He has played 168 career AHL games, all played with the San Jose Barracuda, including 60 games last year.
Mannella led Tulsa’s trio of goaltending options with 274 minutes in five games played. He recorded one win in those five games with a .832 save percentage, averaging 4.83 goals allowed per game.
Meanwhile, the Gulls assigned forward Logan Nijhoff to Tulsa on loan after he had not recorded a point in his first eight games of the season.
San Diego will play the second of two home games with the Grand Rapids Griffins Saturday night at Pechanga Arena after their 6-5 loss Friday night.
