Saturday night, the San Diego Gulls (1-6, 7th AHL Pacific) will welcome back the Colorado Eagles (4-4, 6th AHL Pacific) to the Pechanga Arena San Diego for the second of two games in the weekend homestand.
The Gulls got the upperhand in the first game between the pair of teams as they came out victorious in a 5-4 win Friday night.
Last season, the Eagles won the season series, 5-3. The Gulls and Eagles split in San Diego (2-2), while the Eagles took three out of four in Colorado.
The Gulls are coming off their first win of the season after a 0-6 start. They will go for their second straight victory and the weekend sweep over Colorado.
The Eagles were on a 4-0 stretch before losing 4-0 and 5-4 to drop to 4-4 on the year. They will try to get back on track with a win over last-place San Diego.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m PT. The game will be streamed on AHL TV and can be heard on Gulls Audio Network.
