Daniel Sprong, who was recently reassigned back to the San Diego Gulls (AHL) from the Anaheim Ducks (NHL), has done very well with the Gulls this season.
As of Feb. 10, Sprong has appeared in 33 games in San Diego this season, and has earned 26 points in those games.
The 22-year-old right wing leads the club in assists (16) and shots on goals (103).
Sprong was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins organization in exchange for Marcus Pettersson in December of 2018.
Sprong recorded two points in eight games with the Ducks.
Friday night, the Netherlands-born righty assisted center Sam Carrick's goal against the Roadrunners, and on Sunday against the Bakersfield Condors, Sprong scored his 10th goal of the season.
The Gulls have a strong right wing in Daniel Sprong, who will work just as hard as anybody to gain another call up and prove himself at the top level.
