The AHL and San Diego Gulls released the full 72-game schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday.
The Gulls will open the season with two interconference games in Toronto on Opening Weekend against the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13. It’ll be the first matchup between the two teams since the Gulls moved to San Diego in the 2015-16 season.
The Gulls will host the two-time defending Western Conference champion Coachella Valley Firebirds for their home opener on Friday, Oct. 18.
San Diego’s longest road trip will take place Oct. 19-31 when they visit Bakersfield, Calif., Abbotsford, Canada and Calgary, Canada.
Their biggest rivalry will begin when they host the Ontario Reign on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Gulls will host the Reign again on Saturday, Dec. 7, Friday, Dec. 27 and Saturday, March 8.
Of their 72 games, 64 of them will be played against Pacific Division foes. Their two non-divisional opponents are the Central Division’s Iowa Wild and the North’s Toronto Marlies.
They’ll host the Wild on Wednesday, Jan. 8 and Wednesday, Jan. 15. The Marlies come to town on Wednesday, Jan. 29 and Friday, Jan. 31.
The Gulls will hit the road for four of their last six games, finishing when the Gulls host the Firebirds at Pechanga Arena on Saturday, April 19.
The final day of the regular season is Sunday, April 20.
