Strike Force: After the No. 4-seeded Vegas Knight Hawks knocked out the top-seeded Bay Area Panthers on Sunday, the Strike Force would get to host the conference championship if they advance. They have not hosted a playoff game in the franchise’s six seasons in the IFL.
Rattlers: The defending IFL champions earned the honors of hosting the playoff game on the third tiebreaker having a stronger opponents’ strength of schedule after Arizona and San Diego finished the season with the same record and a split season series. They won three of their last four games after losing each of their previous four games.
