Three players from the San Diego Legion were named to Major League Rugby’s second-week First XV, honoring the top player at each position each week, the league announced Tuesday.

Tighthead prop Darcy Breen, blindside flanker Christian Poidevin and scrum-half Richard Judd were honored after the Legion’s 52-5 win over Anthem Rugby Carolina on Feb. 21 that featured eight different try scorers.

Breen recorded 20 ruck arrivals, made nine tackles and nine ball carries.

Poidevin recorded 18 tackles, 38 ruck arrivals and ran 33 meters for San Diego.

Judd scored his first try of the season, kicked for 294 meters and ran for 38 meters.

The Legion and Houston SaberCats each had three players represented. Only the Utah Warriors had more with four representatives in the week’s top players.
