The San Diego Padres will get three Sunday Night Baseball games in the first half of the season as ESPN announced its game-of-the-week broadcasts through the MLB All-Star break.
They’ll open the 2025 slate with their opening weekend home game against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, March 30 at 4:10 p.m. PT (moved from the originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m. start time).
The Padres will be featured on ESPN again on Sunday, April 20 when they visit the Houston Astros and on Sunday, July 6 when they host the Texas Rangers.
Their July 6 game will be the second of a double-header to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 p.m. PT. The first game on ESPN that day, which has not yet been announced, will start at 3:10 p.m. PT.
The Padres are one of four teams to be featured on ESPN at least three times in the first half of the season. The other teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers (four times), New York Mets (three times) and Philadelphia Phillies (three times).
ESPN has not yet announced their slate of Sunday Night Baseball games beyond July 6 except for the previously-announced Little League Classic game in August.
